1st Annual Golf Day Fundraiser benefiting Kayle Wykes
Kayle Wykes has been selected to represent the SA Kids Golf Team in the European Championships in East Lothian, Scotland taking place May 28th – 30th, 2013. The European Championship is a World Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranked Event which will see Kayle compete at the highest level in his age group. Kayle has also qualified for the World Championships in the USA, to be played in August 2013, and has an exemption to play in these tournaments for the next 3 years.

Fundraising Event: Competing at the highest level in any sport is an expensive business, especially international tournaments. The Foundation, together with parents Derek & Jillian, will be hosting a Golf Day to raise funds to cover Kayle’s travel expenses. Your sponsorship of the Golf Day will ensure that Kayle can compete at the highest level in World Junior Golf.
Event Details: The Golf Day took place at CMR Golf Course April 28, 2013. CMR Golf course is a beautifully manicured, 72 par, 18 hole course, with bent greens, set in the heart of the West Rand, Gauteng. Known for its smooth-rolling bentgrass greens and lush fairways, the course layout at CMR continues to rank with the best. The fairways have wide-open landing areas over gently rolling terrain offering the perfect setting for golf.
